Though her own attempts to find her birth parents haven’t been successful, she still feels a connection to a politician from her homeland when he is placed in her care at the hospital. Before she can find out more, he dies under suspicious circumstances. More events lead her into the protective care of Sloan Dreyer. Together they realize that her life isn’t the only one in danger. With lots of twists and turns, this novel keeps you in suspense. However, some factors don’t seem to remain consistent between scenes. For instance, people with serious injuries are able to lift heavy things when they shouldn’t.Terrific Tale
