I really liked the potential that this book had, it had an amazing underlying story that the writer could have very easily went deeper into, but overall satisfied with how the story line played out. Only thing is this left with alot of open endings for questions unanswered that i am not fond of. Hoping the rest of the stories in the series answers those questions, but from reading the summary of the next book it doesn't seem to be.

Not what I was hoping. The beginning was promising, but it fizzled out from there. At one point, I thought it was about to pick up, but the climax was lacking and led to a rather dull ending.
  • Great Read!

Really great read! Great mystery, and not your typical romance between the two main characters which I liked. Got a little distracted by some spelling and grammatical errors.
  • Easy read. Errors throughput

It was a very easy read. Slow in some parts. I got distracted by simple spelling errors towards the end. Definitely wish a better editor and publisher was used. Other than that, not bad.

David Barber has such a way with words! I couldn’t wait to see how this ended. The rich characters and vivid descriptions of the land kept me interested from start to finish.
  • It’s a good book I haven’t read for 10 years

This book calls for the satisfaction of complete reading in a short period of time. It covers things that would usually be disregarded. Very worthy of casually reading because of the highlights included in the story.
