To Steal a Heart

A very heartwarming romantic comedy with several mysteries to be solved I would thoroughly enjoy watching it as a movie.

I really enjoyed getting to know Gabriella Goodhue. She is a remarkably strong woman. She had a very difficult past that is presented throughout the book. I loved meeting her friends, most of whom are her fellow boarders at the boarding house on Bleeker Street. It was fun getting to know Nicholas Quinn too. I was really amused to see the relationship between Gabriella and Nicholas as it went through many changes over the course of the story. The cast of characters was large and the personalities were very different. There were a number of them with very different quirks that kept me entertained. The numerous antics came from the four legged characters as much as from the humans. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher. I was not required to write a positive review. Ahhhhh.... such a good book! I’ve been dying for this one to hurry up and come out and she did NOT disappoint! It’s perfect. Now to wait for the next one😍

I would give this story more than 5 stars if I could - the scrapes, twists, turns and laughter didn’t quit until the most surprising end. The author has once again started a new series with a bang, that will most certainly follow through into all subsequent novels. They tell me what I want to hear, while you tell me what I need to hear. - Nicholas to Gabriella Nicholas and Gabriella, friends since childhood, have a relationship that has spanned the years, even though their lives diverged into two very different paths. A chance encounter brings even more hilarity to this story. Between dogs that are particular to certain people or speech patterns, someone forever taking notes when not swooning and ladies totally unfamiliar with their required tasks, the Bleeker Street Inquiry Agency starts off with the reader wondering how they will ever survive their first case. Be ready to chuckle frequently and laugh out loud at other times. This novel is Jen Turano at her best!
