Description
Summer Paige was alone, broke, and, quite honestly, a complete mess. She thought being lost in the middle of nowhere was about as bad as it could get, but when she wound up in a ditch with a totaled car and no cell service, she realized just how wrong she was.
The last thing Hunter needed was a distraction, but the moment he looked into the frightened brown eyes of the lonely traveler, he knew he couldn't let her go.
What started out as nothing more than safety and shelter quickly turned into passion and promise in a way neither of them expected.
A future he never knew he wanted was in his grasp, but her past still haunted her, so when faced with a choice, Summer did the only thing she could do… she ran, never expecting Hunter to follow.

5By Mrs CarvajalI loved this book it had so many funny parts and took you through every emotion! Wish the ending was a little better….. not to give a spoiler alert but they left one big question about her dizziness and weight gain. Aside from that lived it!Hoping for Hunter
5By rjborA. Very good read. Sad at first, A close knit family, who all live in same land area all with their own parcel and home, but are very close. A brothers protection envolved over a young lady was demanding & loving. The ending was something I did not expect. And yes love won out. thank you, love it!!

2By mtr694Didn’t like the caveman behavior of male protagonist. Rescuing damsel in distress, not dealing with issues, using stereotypical man behaviors…sorry but not my idea of good readThis book is good.

5By yosuarezAnna Brooks has done it again! First installment in the series and I can’t wait for the next one. Hunter and Summer are so sweet and funny, I couldn’t put it down! I completely fell for them as individuals and as a couple. Also, it was awesome to have some “familiar faces” too. That’s one thing I love about this author, there is always some familiarity across her books. Book 2 can’t come soon enough. Can’t wait to get to know the men of Ryder Ranch!
4By Samantha B. SokolCan’t wait to get to know the men of Ryder Ranch! After a series of trouble and bad luck in Chicago, Summer has decided to relocate to live with her aunt and estranged mother in Texas, but on the way, she somehow has a run-in with a cow that causes her to wreck and badly damage her car. Thankfully, Hunter sees the entire thing, and vows to make things right since it was his sister’s cow, but when he sees Summer, he is instantly taken with her and wants her to stay around for good. Extremely generous and willing to do anything to get Summer to stay while also totally unaware of how to truly act, Summer is initially confused and waiting for the ball to drop with how Hunter is treating her, and while she feels the chemistry between them, she doesn’t initially act on it. As she gets comfortable and gets to know the real Hunter, she decides to give things a go, but her past is always in the back of her mind, especially when friends and family of Hunter’s realizes who she really is, and it causes her to run. Thankfully, things work out for this couple, but it seems that bigger issues are going on at the ranch due to the relationship between Hunter’s parents and how it has affected all the boys. Can’t wait to see what’s next! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.Hunter and Summer
4By Sandyn461Hunter and Summer. What a great beginning to a new series. Even though there are secrets, they do come together beautifully. Steamy and exciting leads to their HEA. I’m ready for the next in the series!
