- Genre: Romantic Suspense
Description
Back in the devil’s lair, I’m at the mercy of a man who fascinates and terrifies me, a tender killer whose obsession with me is growing by the day. Nikolai Molotov is as much my captor as he is my protector, his compound both my safe haven and my gilded cage.
If only I could resist his lethally seductive touch... or fight his growing hold on my heart and mind. Because no matter how far I delve into the enigma of his past, I still don’t know the answer to the most crucial question:
Just how dangerous is his love for me?
Note: This is the conclusion of Nikolai and Chloe’s story.
Reviews
Meh..... Steamy and well written but felt unfinished.
3By 21KRWI absolutely tore through Devils Lair. I started and finished the book all in one go. The character development and descriptive writing really allowed you to feel connected to the story. There was just enough spicy and plot to compel you to keep reading. I felt the same way about Angels Cage until I got about halfway though the book. At that point there was conflict just for the sake of conflict. Nothing was every resolved. Sure, stuff happens a BUT there isn’t a HEA or even a glimpse of what their life is like. Do I regret reading this duet? No. Do I think the author has talent? Yes. Was it worth the 15 for the duet? No.Great book
5By SkyGirl02This was a difficult ratings. The book was good. But the watching others on camera is disturbing. I tend not to support weak female stories. However, is book is so well written I had to give it 5 stars. This series was NOT good
1By Travelqueen77It took me a month to finish the last 15 pages. I wasn’t engaged, steamy was not steamy, and the story abruptly ended. This is the second time reading this author because the first time was so good! But not the case for this series. AWFULLoved itttt 🥰🥰🥰
4By trebsssLoved the story, its characters, and how Nikolai and Chloe compliment each other’s personalities but i think ending could have been a little bit better, too abrupt and cliffhanger about Alina.Angel's Cage
4By BanningloveDidn't really like how this ended, Very abrupt. Not happy with the open end
2By sharonm78I would have liked a better ending it showed nothing of what their future holds. I’m not a fan of endings just being cut off no look in to see what happens. I was very disappointed!Loved It ❤️🥰
5By SuzyfrenchWhat a wonderful conclusion to Anna Zaires new Molotov Obsession Duet. I loved book two Angel’s Cage, it has a well rounded storyline that is sure to keep you guessing what it going to happen next. The danger and romance through out the book had my heart pound and my palms sweating, I also loss a few finger nails lol. I was sad when it all ended but I look forward to Alina’s story hopefully soon. I found Chloe and Nikolai such a compelling couple, they balance each other and their love for one another is inspiring. I would recommend this book to everyone who wants to read an amazing happily ever after.Amazing Duet
5By NycollinsLoved Nikolai and Chloe’s story. Nikolai was obsessed and possessive, but he was also loving and caring toward Chloe. He’d do anything for her, except let her go. Although he was demanding and rough in the bedroom, Chloe enjoyed every single minute of it. Once Chloe acknowledged her feelings for Nikolai, she realized she was where she wanted to be. The duet ended too soon and left me wanting more. Angel’s Cage was a slow build, and just when it started moving fast, it was over. I love all of Anna’s books and can’t wait for her next series. I am really hoping Alexei and Alina get their story.Yummy🔥💋
5By Army SpouseI loved this duet! Such a hot romance🌹💥 Chloe and her morals are no match for the hot Russian! No spoilers here, and the story is intriguing and addictive. I hope there is a book, a spin off, for the Molotov sister. 🥰Loved it!
5By MisyangelOne thing I have always thoroughly enjoyed about Ms Zaires’ books, is how the following books in series start right where you left off. There’s no second guessing, no “Wait. What!??” when you start the next installment. Really enjoyed being immersed in Nikolai and Chloe’s reality and it was a great ending to their story.Couldn't get enough of it!!!
5By Care32I would have finished this book the first day I received it, but life got in the way. However, It was so good 🌟 ❤️!!! It was an easy read, page-turning, action-packed, hot 😓 , romantic love story, and full of twists. I loved the complicated love story of Nikolai and Chloe. I hope there will be a story about Alina and Alexie...🤞🏾. Another great story Anna 👍🏾. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.Single dad hero with an edge
4By Vickory6The Molotov Obsession duet is as well-written as all of this author's books, and for me the best thing about it was that Nikolai was a single dad. In fact, I wish there would have been even more scenes with him and his son, with and without Chloe. I also loved his obsession with Chloe, and how it manifested in this book, though I will say that despite all of the requisite sexy scenes I didn't actually feel the heat and chemistry between Chloe and Nikolai. I felt the emotion of his connection to the child, but not between each other. Alternatively, I was extremely intrigued by the powerful chemistry between secondary characters that had just a couple of lines in relation to each other, and am really hoping there is a plan to tell their story. On my personal scale this duet wasn't dark at all, maybe just slightly edgier than a contemporary romance, but I think that will definitely come down to each reader to judge for themselves.Angel’s Cage with an Open Door
5By Sian VeeI am a huge Anna Zaires fan! All of her stories have this way of grabbing you and pulling you into the story. Angel’s Cage is no different. It continues the story of Nikolai and Chloe. I’m not gonna give away any spoilers. My only complaint is I wish there was more to their story. I felt deflated at the ending. It’s A good ending but I was just expecting something else. Definitely worth the read though! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.Cage me in with him!
4By starstacyThis book starts right where book one stopped, so you must read it first. Chloe learned that Nikolai will “keep [her] safe from everyone except himself,” and I was here for it! He had a “darkly magnetic” pull to Chloe, and he was just as protective, possessive, obsessive and intense as ever in this book. I would love to be caged in with him like Chloe! Even though they knew each other a short time, their connection and bond was strong and electric. Chloe frustrated me a little bit, but Nikolai understood her to my relief; he understood that she would would have trouble admitting her feelings for him, because “it compromises her society-imposed morals,” and how she wants to think of herself. So can Chloe embrace her true self and her feelings for him? I loved their journey in this book; two imperfect people learning they were perfect for each other. Then add in an action packed denouement, and this was a satisfying conclusion to their story. I definitely recommend this duet! I requested and received an advanced copy of this ebook for my honest review that I am voluntarily leaving.Excellent Mafia Romance
5By VickSt1This book is the second in the Molotov Obsession Duet which continues the story of Nikolai and Chloe at the point it ended in The Devil’s Liar. While she recovers from her injuries, Nikolai informs Chloe he believes he knows the identity of the person responsible for the murder of her mother and the attempts upon her life. Their relationship and that of father and son intensifies and grows. This is a phenomenal book with amazing and complex characters. The storyline is one of danger, suspense, obsession, and sizzling passion. Anna Zaires has written another fantastic duet! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
