It is definitely not a clever book, even though it strives to hit that mark. 1By midlotamSo sorry I wasted hours of my life on this book. Too long, and too confusing. And no, I’m not stupid - I’m a retired teacher and copy editor. The plot twists were, I imagine, meant to be suspenseful, but they were simply incomprehensible. I came to care less and less about these characters, but kept reading to see “whodunnit .” The ending was completely unbelievable!Really good and a page turner. Would have preferred a little different ending
