My father and I were walking around Carnegie Mellon University campus for Exercise.

My father put his arm around me and said, "When I die, I want to die on the Golf course."

"You Love Golf," I said.

"Yes," my father said.

On November 9, 1981 I got a phone call at my office.

"Hi, Rick,  this is Bernie. I am sorry to tell you that your father passed away on the eighteenth hole of the Schenely Golf Course. He hit a shot off the fairway. I said 'Good shot Beni'

He keeled over and died."

My father got his wish and died on the golf course. He came back to me in a series of dreams to tell me his life's story. Surprisingly enough this Deli owners life was action- packed and full of adventures. He also shared with me a lot about the history of the Great Depression, World War II,Mob Life, and the history of Pittsburgh, Jewish community and surrounding Mill Towns. You will find this to be an exciting, entertaining, informative read.
