Description
"You and those pointy little sticks aren't welcome here. You gettin' that yet?"
He has no idea those "pointy sticks" are weapons—and she knows exactly how to use them.
When Abigail mysteriously inherits her dream cottage, she thinks her luck has finally turned. What she doesn't expect is the brooding cowboy who apparently comes with the property—and his volcanic temper that could melt steel.
Fleeing a dangerous past, Abigail sees her unexpected inheritance as the perfect sanctuary. She'll transform the ramshackle cottage into a cozy knitting haven where she can disappear into wool, needles, and the peaceful rhythm of creating something beautiful.
But Cade MacArthur owns every inch of land surrounding her new home, and this scorching-hot rancher considers the sharp-tongued city girl nothing more than a trespasser who's invaded his territory.
What starts as a battle of wills ignites into something far more dangerous.
Every heated argument crackles with undeniable attraction. Every stolen glance threatens to combust. And when the deadly secrets Abigail thought she'd escaped come hunting for her, she'll have to trust the one man who makes her burn—with her life, her future, and the heart she swore she'd never risk again.
Get ready for sizzling chemistry, laugh-out-loud banter, and a love story that will leave you breathless.

Loved it
4By nelliddickI loved story line including past trauma. Multiple editing errors were distracting. Sex & language were more than PG13, but not too much to make me stop reading. Actually because it was such an interest read (Eliza’s intrigue), I could have read straight through if life things had allowed. Will read more from this author.Sweet and slightly steamy

5By mybabychazTruly a wonderful read from beginning to end. Once you start, there’s no way you can stop. Tastefully done and you feel like you are right there.A loving story
4By Woodland3Cade did not trust women, due to how he observed the treatment his mother gave his father. Due to his fear of abandonment, he never let women get close enough to have a real relationship. Luckily, his Great Aunt had a plan in the works, bringing Abigail into his life (against his wishes). Besides the slow moving love story, there is the danger from a past crazy stalker. I really enjoyed this book.Sexual attraction but little else
3By iheartcalcI did like the premise of the story. However, I did not like how Cade continually opposed Abigail. The only time they got along was sexually . Other times it was just the heroine trying to be nice to the hero while Cade stomped, sulked and grumbled.Thus. I had a hard time believing in their romance.
