Description

That one night stand? It was just the beginning…

My new neighbor, Elle, is everything I avoid. Chatty, sunshine-y, and determined that since our kids are brand-new BFFs, we should be too.

That would be bad news even if I hadn’t had a one-night stand with her a few months back that turned me inside out.

You see, since my wife died, I keep to myself. I hook up, but it’s always one-and-done. So you can imagine my shock when I discover that the girl next door is the one woman I was hoping never to see again.

Now I’m seeing her again… and again, and again. And all the promises I made to myself? They’re starting to look more like lies.

It’s good I love it not over the top. But this book give me a ride of emotions. From grinning happily, to anger and then crying. Loved it

Now this was an interesting story. Neighbors with sons the same age. One loosing his wife thru death and the other divorcing her husband to go back to his highschool sweetheart. Interesting story, the closeness, the hassles that came, but the ending was Heart grabbing. really good. Thank you…

Wow, all the feels! I laughed, cried, swooned and smiled. It was heartfelt, real, and so so steamy! The perfect combination. Might be my one of Serena’s yet!

Cute book about second chances at love with some steamy sex scenes thrown in. The characters have great chemistry. This is the 3rd book in this “series” which can all be read as stand alones. Now I need to go back and read book 2.

This is a cute book about a widower and his son who move in next door to a divorced lady and her son. The boys become fast friends and their parents discover they were ‘one-night’ stands awhile back. If that isn’t awkward enough, their octogenarian neighbor keeps trying to throw them together as do their sons. I really enjoyed reading this book. I voluntarily read a copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
  • Better than expected!

I loved the honesty between Elle and Sawyer! They both knew the things they didn’t want out of a relationship and approached this one with complete honesty.
  • Re-meet cute! One night stand turned neighbors!

I loved reading the eARCs as part of her re-release party spring 2022! My favorite quote I’ve made about this series: “Steam you don’t have to wait for and doesn’t fizzle out.” The Sleepover By Serena Bell Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (0-5 scale) series as a whole is definitely a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 (0-5 scale) What I’m Starry-Eyed About: 🤩 Fantastic Meet Cute: one-night-stand turned neighbors. 🤩 Close Proximity. 🤩 All the good feels: love, longing, lust, and laughs. 🤩 Honesty between Elle & Jonah. 🤩 Adorable kids are best friends (more close proximity) and already teaching the adults in their lives lessons on being good humans. 🤩 Career growth—writer & designer/builder. 🤩 Fake dating—I fell in love with Jonah when he protected Elle around her ex-husband. 🤩 Texting, sexual tension to the max, naughty foreplay, and so much steam! 🤩 Like I said, steam you don’t have to wait for and doesn’t fizzle out. What I’m Wishing/Dizzy About: 💫 She’s going to her ex-husband’s (who cheated on her) wedding. Nope. 💫 Spouse died trope is one of my least favorites. Serena did it better than most for me. I don’t even know why it annoys me so much. I just don’t want my MCs to feel second-rate.
