4By probzlostIn this story the mystery hits home with Talin's auntie being murdered. Throw in a goddess (or two), a seemingly vengeful spirit, one immortal, and accusations of murder, and you've got a pretty compelling story! The SB really came together for this one despite being separated by Covid restrictions. I loved the growth that Talin was able to have with this big change; he really gets to take a hard look at what he wants in life. Abbie and Callum also get to spend some time together (6 feet apart type together). I liked the world building that happens in this story and how the additional details will later impact Abbie's Grimm status and her Standard Bearers crew. This is the 4th book in the series and I recommend reading the other three in order to understand all the events that happen in this story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
