It was just like it was written by someone entirely different. I can appreciate change and different stories. But I just could not get into this one at all.Disappointing

2By Magnus666Dark Matter by the same author is one of my favorite books. I’ve read it maybe 8 times. Hard to believe this is the same author. This is torture to get through. The back and forth timelines are tedious with too many characters, none of which I care about. Nothing is happening thus far. It’s like an old book the author wrote a long time ago and his publisher insisted this should be published. If that is the case or whatever, whoever idea this was too publish should be fired, this is not doing the author any favors to his career. But seriously go read Dark Matter.Confusing, dark, depressing.

1By thejackreaderOnly a dark mind could write something this twisted. Plenty of graphic violence, including a preacher who becomes a mass murderer, then brainwashes a 6-year old girl into thinking God wants her to be a serial killer.
