Description
Andrzej Sapkowski’s New York Times bestselling Witcher series has inspired the hit Netflix show and multiple blockbuster video games, and has transported millions of fans around the globe to an epic, unforgettable world of magic and adventure.
For over a century, humans, dwarves, gnomes, and elves have lived together in relative peace. But that peace has now come to an end.
Geralt of Rivia, the hunter known as the Witcher, has been waiting for the birth of a prophesied child. The one who has the power to change the world for good—or for evil.
As the threat of war hangs over the land and the child is pursued for her extraordinary powers, it will become Geralt’s responsibility to protect them all. And the Witcher never accepts defeat.
Join Geralt of Rivia; his beloved ward and the child of prophecy, Ciri; and his ally and love, the powerful sorceress Yennefer as they battle monsters, demons, and prejudices alike in Blood of Elves, the first novel of The Witcher Saga.

5By BryaericSolid book had me really investedBook stuck downloading iBooks is terrible
4By uspetcustomerI tried to download this book, now it is permanently stuck on downloading. I have tried restarting my phone, I have signed in and out of my Apple ID. To be clear, my money was taken and now I have no book. This is the last time I ever use this service and I discourage anyone from using iBooks in the the future. It’s a terrible app that steals your money and messes up your phone developed by dishonest thieves.Blood of Elves
5By brexilThis novel is an excellent addition to the lore of Geralt of Rivia. A gripping story filled with magic, history, adventure and romance that is sure to grab the attention of almost any lover of fantasy.Excellent
5By Beasty17379054110064An intriguing and well done set-up for the next books in the series.Blood Elves
3By KrashenberneNot is dynamic read as the other four books. It is interesting to see how Ciri's young adulthood went. I hope this author writes another book or two of this World he created.Incredible book
5By Menelaus8I read this book after playing the Witcher 3 because I became so interested in the story of the game, and after reading the book I was not disappointed in the slightest. The book is excellent especially with a new level of understanding the characters you play as/encounter in the game. In addition, it is masterfully written and a light and true joy to read! Recommend it for those that have and have not played the video games yet!!BORING
1By Jack Sawyer1001Slogging through this waste of money was tedious at best. There's no humor or battles like The Last Wish (which was a great read). This book spends its entire story basically setting up for his next story which I don't think I'll buy especially if it's more of the same. Is this an endless setup for the next story ad infinitum?Awesome
5By TizmaticQuick, fun read!Great start
5By Forty25While not centering around the witcher as much as I expected, it was still a great start to the series. Cant wait for the rest to be translated to english.
