5By Kk683Just finished reading this book and I have to admit that I was a little skeptical about it backtracking to the time before Will becomes a full fledged Ranger. However, just like all of the books before it, I could not stop reading. Lots of adventure and suspense to keep any Ranger’s Apprentice fan’s eyes glued to the pages. I am currently a college student and I have been reading this series since freshman year of highschool and still cannot get enough! Great Read I highly recommend it. On to the next book!Great Book

5By WoodrakAfter reading the authors notes that he had forgotten a year in will's training and had to back track. I was a little discouraged. Knowing what I read in the last book this book will only be filler. That couldn't be further from the truth. The story was well rounded and added a whole new element to the adventures in the series.
