3By pdorierA unique and fascinating subject that was well exploited in the first half of the novel but ended into hundreds of pages of pseudo theological, philosophical, psychological rhetoric. Characters and action are not easily believable in many respects and therefore difficult to identify with. A pale attempt to mimic the Da Vinci Code. Still deserves 3 stars for the historical research and the first 300 pages.Incredibly Frustrating

I was so dumbfounded at the end of this book, I literally tossed it across the room. Great way to keep yourself enthralled in a good story for a while. My suggestion though is to just disregard the final chapters and think of your own ending.The Last Templar
5By PattieWagonGreat wrap up to this two novel adventure. The outcome is plausible without being farfetched and hokey. In both the books, the characters are well developed and held true to character. I will be anxiously awaiting book number three.The Last Templar

2By Count BorkulaEh, I guess this book is okay. I kind if liked it at first. I was intrigued by the story. There's some adventure and some far flung locales. But in the end I found the ending to be trite and mostly a cop-out. The characters casually ignore one of the "biggest discoveries ever", just let it fall away, because a few churchgoers are honorable people? After chapter after chapter expounds on the evils of organized religion? Really taking the easy way out. As a side note, I also felt that the characters were not fleshed out enough for me to actually care much about them. They generally run around heedless of the danger they cause and are involved in and seem surprised when everything goes bad and they almost die. Kind of hard to relate to that sort of behavior. I guess it passed the time and held my interest...up until the last four chapters when I basically gave up on the author.A must read
3By PanremtI am not much of a reader, in fact I am lucky to read one book a year. I downloaded the sample of this book and just could not put it down. If you have seen tis film you have to read this book, and it will shed a whole new light on the story. Excellently written, packed with action and adventure along with some suspense thrown in. I highly recommend this book to my friends, who can hardly believe I sat and read it from front to back.
