Description
The brilliant, chilling debut of Karen White's New York Times bestselling Tradd Street series, featuring a Charleston real estate agent who loves old houses—and the secret histories inside them.
Practical Melanie Middleton hates to admit she can see ghosts. But she's going to have to accept it. An old man she recently met has died, leaving her his historic Tradd Street home, complete with housekeeper, dog—and a family of ghosts anxious to tell her their secrets.
Enter Jack Trenholm, a gorgeous writer obsessed with unsolved mysteries. He has reason to believe that diamonds from the Confederate Treasury are hidden in the house. So he turns the charm on with Melanie, only to discover he's the smitten one...
It turns out Jack's search has caught the attention of a malevolent ghost. Now, Jack and Melanie must unravel a mystery of passion, heartbreak—and even murder.

The “award winning” book she just wrote
1By cheri9/1I feel like she used EVERY DESCRIPTIVE word she knew, even if it wasn’t a real word, to open this book. I read all the time. I liked her last book, A LOT! But, as an avid reader.... What she wrote was complete GARBAGE!!!Awesome writer
5By Eternal nnThis is the 3rd book I have read by Ms. White that has been totally satisfying. Books are chunky in content, fun and cause me to want to read her other books. A thank you to the author for sharing her world. One dimensional

5By uprise24I am an avid reader and have started quite a few books of late that I couldn't finish. Usually don't even finish the free samples. That being said, I loved this book. It had a terrific mystery that there was no guessing, likeable characters, ghosts and a good plot to tie it all together. No unnecessary page after page of descriptions (my unfavorite). It kept me engaged the whole time. If you spend the $1.99 to read it and don't enjoy it, look me up and I'll give you five bucks😉Just found this book...
