This book was fantastic. I've read many romance novels and of course after a while they all seem like same old thing, this one in particular was fabulous! Enough intrigue and storyline to keep you entertained the whole time. I felt like it was the perfect story, this is a must read for every woman!

I almost didn't buy this book after reading the free chapter (gah, another priggish spinster heroine?) but I'm glad I did. I ended up really enjoying this book and Emma's transformation.

One of the most exhilarating novels I've ever read. With the right amount of romance, spice and laughter. I will be reading this again and again

WHAT A BREATH OF FRESH AIR! I really enjoyed this book because it had a light-hearted quality to it. Most historical romance novels are a bit intense, usually involving some mystery or damsel in distress plot. This book was about two people falling in love and overcoming some odds but nothing over the top. The author did a great job of keeping the book fun, and fast paced. A FUN READ!

It was awesome though I'd like a couple of chapter about the wedding, his family reaction and afterwards. Lovely book!

I'm Hispanic and consuelo is a woman's name. The (a) and (o) rule does not apply for names.

4 stars only because of an issue with a name. Consuelo is a man's name. In Spanish, feminine words (including names) end in -a while masculine words end in -o, so the proper name would have been Consuela. Every time I read Consuelo I became confused for a brief moment, which was slightly annoying. Otherwise it was a wonderful book, I couldn't put it down. :)
