1By Thepinklilly~+SPOILERS AHEAD+ Baby gets sick, they find a pearl, it’s evil, they almost die, the baby does tho, and the pearl is back in the ocean. +END OF SPOILERS+ There. Now you don’t have to read it. I normally like what I read but I hated this book. It has an unnecessary amount of descriptions. It has close to 100 pages when it could be taken down to 40, removing 60 pages of descriptions still making the book interesting. Also I would normally read this book in just a couple of hours but I found it SO boring it took me two weeks to read. I do not recommend this. If zero stars were an option I would pick it. If you don’t have to read it, then don’t.Fitting
5By adiyelRead this in fifth grade love the metaphors my older brother got named Kino because my mom read this book while she was sons chill to and loved it great story I love how John used the ants as a metaphor to compare how it was different on both sides.The Pearl

5By The most fabulous cookiePeople say it is a boring book but they aren’t explaining why. I have this book as one of my choices to read for a class project. I wish they would explain why they don’t like it because I want to make an informed decision on wether or not I want to read this book.This Sucked
1By Pika2090I was forced to read this book for class and i HATED it. first of all, this review is not for people who like analyzing literature becuse that is the majority of the book. But even if you enjoy that theres too much description of stuff that doesnt matter. there was a point where he spent 3 pages describing the beach, thats just as many pages as there was actual action.
