And one by one, they die…

Which among them is the killer and will any of them survive?

"Agatha Christie is the gateway drug to crime fiction both for readers and for writers. . . .  Just one book is never enough." — VAL MCDERMID, Internationally Bestselling Author

The explanation is in this version. That said, the murder of TEN people is an extraordinary feat to pull off, but Agatha Christie was a genius of the genre. The island setting was superb, the ten victims were hard to remember at first, as were their crimes. But you quickly get immersed in this excellent mystery. 5 stars.

I’ve purchased many books through the Books app and this is the only one that won’t load. I’ve tried accessing it on my iPhone and iPad and all that shows up is an image that displays Harper, the publisher … will be disputing the purchase with my card company
  • Amazing book, though this edition I’m not sure about

I actually didn’t read this version, just the paper copy book. Theretofore, I don’t know whether this version is good or not. But the book itself is the most amazing thing upon this earth. And how dare somebody say that she wrote bad in this one! Nothing compares to Dame Agatha Christie’s writing for mysteries! (Because Dickens does write much better than her, and so does Dostoyevsky, but they are two different kinds of writing

It’s fine. Not her best by a long shot. Also was hard for me to ignore the prior titles of the book and “nursery rhyme”. Take a look at the wikipedia page for this one.

I am still baffled as to why I have never read any Christie books until this year. This is an absolutely fascinating story that keeps you guessing and guessing and guessing. A century later, Dame Agatha Christie remains the queen of the murder mystery.

Ignore other reviewers for the iBooks version. The ending is included, it’s just called something else “A letter to Scotland Yard.” This was fantastic and is well worth the price - a masterpiece to say the least!
  • Book version is a big thumbs down

Don’t get this version!!! The most important part: the ending, is not in it.

First off, we have to acknowledge the fact that this script was, in fact written long ago, and later recorded to books. This may be why it is confusing to the current generation, and it may have typos because, bear n mind, it had to be modified in order to suit us, and there is a very high possibility that the producers made the typo, not the author. I am dissatisfied with the ending, but then again, it is the own fault of the producers. I still am a huge fan of this book. Remember, beyond typos, grammatical errors, lack of detail and confusing entries, a mystery is hiding in the ink.
  • Brilliant story

The story is gripping and clever, and the pacing is great as well. It had me so invested I finished it in one sitting. It was a bit hard to remember the characters' names at first, as there are 10, but they all become impressionable in next to no time. I was as confused as the characters in the story, which made it all the more satisfying to get to the end. A review saying that this is an incomplete copy had me hesitant to purchase it, but all chapters and epilogues are present as of June 2020.
