Reviews
Enjoyable, but the rest...
4By WillowtreephoenixThis book is really good and funny! It’s a tad sexy and I find it really fun to compare and contrast to the movie. I even enjoyed a lot of the other books, but as you keep reading the series it just keeps getting stupider and stupider and more sexual. Eventually, I got to the point where I was completely done with this series (in an exasperated way). It all depends on what you find funny, but this book is really, really good!My first favorite book
5By Rebeccas1016Just thinking of these books and the movies makes me so happy. They were my first favorites and I will love them forever!!Its great

I was reading a different series of hers and was waiting for the last book to be reshelved when I saw one of her princess diaries books and decided to start reading it because I was waiting and then I absolutely fell in love with the characters. I have read this series three times going on four. The princess diaries

5By Icycafe426Oh man, I've read this book countless times since I was 11 years old (I'm now 23!). Meg Cabot's numerous books helped to fuel my love of reading and define my teen years. Every young girl should read this gem of a novel; it will warm my heart forever.I loved it
2By Cool-girl-15It was the best book I have ever read in my whole. My Favorite!
5By amandacharltonThis is probably one of my favorite book series of all time if not my favorite. I constantly retread them for I deal as though, even though I'm not a princess that the story line can be applied to my life as far as friends and high school goes. Each time I reread it,I learn something new about myself for as I have gotten older I find that I react to things very differently than in the past. I HIGHLY suggest this book it's relatable funny, and a great story line. It really feels like the writer is talking to you(hence the diary in the tittle) Ps it's very different from the movie so don't use the excuse that Issa movie ill just watch that instead. The books are WAYYYY better than the movie trust me, everyone who I've talked to agrees so read the books you won't regret it!(:LOVE IT
5By brightspriritfromwarriorsI am a warrior cat fan but this is like number 2 for me and also read the rest of the series! It's greatThe Princess Diaries

5By Ravedancer303I feel like this book was very well written and i could not stop reading it was fun to see a teenagers life transformed into a princess fantasy i loved it!!! Thank u Meg Cabot!!!!!Awesome!
5By UniqueWriterI grew up reading all The Princess Diaries books and loved them so much that I kept the entire series and read them all over again as an adult. The books are incredibly funny and even my mom enjoys the escapades Mia and her friends have. The romance is great, all of Mia's struggles are things that most teens can relate to, top notch humor, and a very easy to read format. I recommend these books for anyone 10 and older (just to warn you though some of the scenes in the later books are more older teen issues) but they are relatively clean so nothing will traumatize parents either. I am glad iBooks is offering the first book for just 2.00 for new readers. I own a 3G iPod Touch and iPhone 3G S and use iBooks constantly- these editions also let you highlight, bookmark, zoom, and change font size until it is perfect for you-even make notes. Just to let you know the books differ some than the movies- like the events in movie 2 have not happened by the end of the series and the first movie has changed/edited some parts from the books but not so much that new readers who watched the movie first will be lost reading it. Try it today either as a sample or buy the edition if you have the money. I bet you will love it as much as I did as a kid!NYC Royale
5By Jr.basOne of Meg Cabot's wonderful inspirations, The Princess Diaries describes a normal NYC teenager living a normal life until the day she finds out she's the heir to the throne of Genovia, has her life tear into pieces. Despite the humor of Mia and the things she's facing (being a freak at school, flunking her algebra class, despite the fact that her mom is dating her algebra teacher, and spending the weekends & after school sessions with her grandmother, Grandmere) the reader will enjoy the official diary of Princess Amelia of Genovia..I LOVED IT!!!!
5By Xanado222I love this book and the rest of the series!Love!!!!!!!!!!

5By Leticia DantasThis book made me a devoted Meg Cabot fan a long time ago and I still love it! If you've watched the movie prepare yourself to fall in love with the real and royal Mia! The book is much better!!! You won't be able to stop reading the series!
