1By Awol!But it really is. The language, mannerisms, and expressions are all wrong for the time period. Clearly the writer didn't bother with pesky research. There's minimal character developed and the dialogue made me roll my eyes. The writer incorporated contemporary slang and expressions into a period piece. 'Nuff said.Run! Worst Book Ever!
1By FmmuddThis is a terrible, terrible book. It rambles. It was much too long. The characters are unbelievable and unlikable. The plot is ridiculous. It is supposed to take place in 1899 but, there are so many things out of place, it's shocking. I kept reading hoping that the love story would make it all worthwhile but it was a huge letdown. Even their love scene was horribly disappointing. I honestly can't believe that she's written so many books. No wonder she had to publish her own books. No one else would.Not worth the 0.99 I paid

It was set around the 1900, but the characters kept slip into modern day terms and uses of words. This could have been a really good story if the writer did a little more homework.Nice read!

2By DchungloThere is a reason why this book is free. It is terribly written. Nordin must have never taken a writing class where they told her to SHOW NOT TELL. The story makes no sense, it's hard to determine what time everything is taking place in, and worst of all she feels the need to describe every thought rather than allow the reader to feel the story. I honestly felt that I lost brain cells reading this. Do not. Other, it isn't worth your time.An inconvenient marriage
