3By charlie knucklesAnother fascinating thriller from one of the all time greats. Definitely worth the time.Avenger again
5By geeeerrrryyThis is a great fall on to the book avenger and has ever shows the authors meticulous research and intricate plot weavingThe Cobra
1By NoholikeOne of the most ridiculous and boring books I have ever read. It is very wordy, plotless, and a true waste of time. This entire book could have been reduced to two chapters with proper editing (sadly lacking) and then it would still have been too much. The cobra
5By Ray CasA Super Thriller. One of the best novels I have read in 50 years! The Cobra
2By ButtorNutI have to say the book was disappointing. Not up to the Forsyth standard I am used to. It seemed that the author had a contract for so many words and not a very good story. Oh well, time to find a new writer. The problem is once you spend the money and buy the book online you can't even give it away.Plodding
3By Mark in PANot a bad story but somewhat plodding. The Cobra
5By Ghostrover78Frederick Forsyth is still the tops in story telling. I did not see the end coming. I was hoping he (Cobra) would go on to fight another war. The bad guy won. Fast paced, entertaining and well written. Could not put the book down. Mr. Forsyth is the reason I got hooked on reading. Thank youThe Cobra
4By Grayling209Four stars plus. Such a fast paced read, with some neat twists and turns, held me captivated until the ending. I thought the ending was weak and the book flamed out. The main character would have never let his guard down as it was put forth. BUT I will definitely try another book.Another instant classic
5By Franny2002Another instant classic thriller but with a surprise ending! I can hardly wait for the next one! Once I started reading this book I simply could not put it down. Yet another masterpiece from the greatest author of the genre!Cannot put it down
4By SportstoreAn excellent plot and build up to the final crescendo! It makes you think about politics and criminals. The one craves wealth and the other power. Power cannot exist without wealth. Only a few individuals can and will make a difference. Foresyth is right. Politicians will always tolerate cocaine and gangs, they are part of the problem. Maybe someday, somebody will have the guts to to take the story to a different end. I so wish it could have been so in this book, but it is not reality, I could not put the book down - hoping for an ideal end.
