Description

Thirteen-year-old Jonah has always known that he was adopted, and he's never thought it was any big deal. Then he and a new friend, Chip, who's also adoped, begin receiving mysterious letters. The first one says, "You are one of the missing." The second one says, "Beware! They're coming back to get you."

Jonah, Chip, and Jonah's sister, Katherine, are plunged into a mystery that involves the FBI, a vast smuggling operation, an airplane that appeared out of nowhere -- and people who seem to appear and disappear at will. The kids discover they are caught in a battle between two opposing forces that want very different things for Jonah and Chip's lives.

Do Jonah and Chip have any choice in the matter? And what should they choose when both alternatives are horrifying?

With Found, Margaret Peterson Haddix begins a new series that promises to be every bit as suspenseful as her Shadow Children series -- which has sold more than 41/2 million copies -- and proves her, once again, to be a master of the page-turner.

It's soon good especially when you think you know something and it changes. It throws you off to add suspense. Chip and Jonah (the main characters) will do anything to find out what happens to the "missing"

I'm in fifth grade and I read this book for a competition(BOB, I had to competed against 10 different schools and we won!) I loved this book! It was one of my focus books(every one got 3 so when we competed at least 1 person could answer) I got to re read the book at least 3 times, I could recite the 1st page, if(when) u buy the book don't skip the prologue!!!😑DONT! The other books in the series are REALLY GOOD! I like torn best if all!(#5)

πŸ“– Margaret is the first author that got me interested in reading. I used to read picture books before I saw two guys from my class getting her books. πŸ“š This was in 5th (I was 11) now I'm in 7th (I'm 13), and I'm still reading her books I'm going to read Torn #4 and Caught #5. If someone tells you these books are bad say "Liar!" Really loud and buy the books or check them out anyway. 😍 Happy reading!

I don't read much my self but this book was great! I can picture every scene clearly and every character was well developed during the entire length of the book. I recommend it to young readers even if they do not enjoy reading.

When I found the book I wasn't sure I would like it but as I read it I got into it more and more untill it was done. I usually don't read to often and so finding a book like this that I can enjoy really made me happy. I am currently reading the 4th book Torn and it is great, but I really can't wait till the last one comes out in Feb.!!!
