- I like pie- 1 - By ManlyMastrbator - I like this this book and I like pie.
- A difficult read...not surprising though- 3 - By Seattlerockerlady - Since this book is in direct translation, I see how it is definitely a more difficult read. I do wonder on when it comes to certain sizes and such what animal or other symbol would they describe people. Since many people have differing opinions on what size they are versus what others think, how do we know for sure where we fall on the diagram? If anyone on here has an idea on how to figure that out, I would love to know. I don't need any pictures or anything, I guess maybe just some more specifics so I can understand better how I can apply these teachings for my husband and I.
- guys, seriously- 5 - By megmasters - these reviews aren't a poll, they shouldn't be used to argue about what should and shouldn't be written. these reviews should stay what they are, REVIEWS about the book at hand; the kama sutra.
- There is no gay Kama Sutra- 3 - By Dragonfly641 - Think about it like a human being, not everything is going to be "re-done" because a very small group of self centered people want it to be. . .grow up.
- Really, people?- 5 - By ID Crysis - Ok, yes, because an ancient work should be edited to fit today's standards. Did you read what you wrote before hitting"submit"?
It's an ancient book from a different culture. It's one sided because, if I'm not mistaken, there was only the one acceptable way, no 'ifs', 'ands' or 'buts' about it.
- One sided.- 1 - By k3lSeÿ - Kama sutra books should be re done to fit to everyone's different lifestyles. Or at least make different editions. Kama sutra is only for man and female relationships. Lesbian, Gay, and polygamist relationships are very wide spread, it would be okay with everyone if on a shelf they say a gay edition, or a lesbian edition of Kama sutra.
- Interesting- 3 - By Delinquent Roach - Interesting enough to read.
- It's time to grow up.- 5 - By Jennrob75 - I haven't read this book in any form, but I will assume that a book like this, written many years ago, was meant to teach not arouse. If you need pictures to learn then you need to go back to grade school. This book has been around for centuries, which means this author knows what he is talking about and people are still reading it so it must work. Don't be upset or ashamed if you have to look up words. Most people don't talk the way they did back then, plus you are still learning something new, which should be an ongoing process till the day you die anyway. Research and explore! Now I have to download this book cause it is free and you all got me interested. Pictures just get in the way for me.
- Really?- 4 - By Look@MyNickname - First off, its not supposed to be a porn mag. You can find ample pictures of anything you want via google. Secondly, sexist, really? Do you know how old this book is? You do realize its from another culture as well right? Things are / were different in history and places around the world. Try being a little open minded and taking things with a grain of salt.
- You NEED pictures to figure it out...?- 5 - By Bubbuh Jones - Nuff said.
- Come on guys!- 5 - By Jwilli59 - This book is free! There are several books that you can purchase if you want porn oh sorry I meant pics.
- Photos are only a splinter in an overall exquisite (wooden) piece of art- 4 - By rubyfaire - I haven't downloaded or read this yet only because I've a lack of spare time presently; & couldn't unless it was assigned to study for college. What I will say is I think it's pretty cool a piece like "The Kama Sutra" is offered on itunes...& for free. For no money, anyone can get a taste of what the "Sutra" is about.
...What? It has no illustrations-?! Come on. Did anyone really think iTunes would put this work up in its entirety? And for free? Get a feel for it here. Go out & spend a little money on the book itself if illustrations are necessary; or a lack of are a dealbreaker.
- Real knowledge- 5 - By Ichu007 - Kamasutra provides the real meaning of romance and relationships. It is a great book and a must have for couples who wish to have healthier sex and happier lives.
- Sexist- 3 - By LoneJedi - An interesting look into ancient views on sex, but quite sexist as it depicts men as primary actors in relationships and women as acted upon, unless she is having a tantrum over something she dislikes in the man's action. Great for learning some new and exciting positions, but I would not recommend it as a primer for love.
- The Kama Sutra- 5 - By dareishare.com - I don't think the readers are truly appreciating the contents. Kama Sutra is about the imagination. No pics means using the ol' noggin once again. Really love that. If you just want pictures you can pick up a playboy/girl. Spending too much time to understand it is like saying you have no time to put into your relationship. On the other hand taking the time to research the old stuff is quite fascinating. It slows me down and gives me permissin to breathe, relax and enjoy.
- What's Up!! No Pics!! Nothing!!- 1 - By BamBam6669 - A potential classic of eroticism with illustrations, Oh wait this doesn't have them!!! LAME!!
- No pics???- 1 - By Saham34567 - Seriously!!!!???
- Needs to grab readers attention- 3 - By Jeuno - Translated from the original work. A bit difficult to read / get into. I spend more time looking up words or referencing things then actually reading the book. Can't give it five stars because it's a boring read.
- No pictures- 2 - By J-soy - Nuff said.
