4By Ghosthunter182When it comes to Gardner, it's a hit or miss for me. This is definitely a hit. Since I'm the farthest thing from perfect, I expect silly mistakes. The only reason I mention this one is because I laughed hysterically.... Too cute how Tessa had to sign forms in the ER for "HEPA" filters to protect her privacy rather than the annoying "HIPPA" forms that we have to. HahahahLoved, Loved, Loved this Book!

4By Sue WhalenThe title about says it all. Throughout the first two thirds of the novel, the plot maintained the suspense and was credible. After Tessa's escape from jail, the credibility declines and the suspense factor does as well. The conclusion, as with many modern thriller mysteries, lacked all credibility. That the Boston PD and a DA bought Tessa's obviously manufactured account of events was completely unbelievable. Would never happen. But well? This is fiction and as such it is good entertainment worth the price and the time to relax, read and suspend, for the moment, rational analysis.
