Description

Born into a real-estate dynasty, Brandt Wainwright chose football over the family business, and now he's a Super Bowl MVP. That streak of good fortune runs out the day Brandt crashes his SUV into a tree. During the long recuperation, the fun-loving quarterback becomes cranky and sullen—until private nurse Ciara Dennison shows up for duty.

Ciara has zero interest in sports, or in tall, blond jocks with overblown egos. She's dated a man in the public eye before, and she's not repeating that mistake. Somehow Brandt keeps breaking down all her defenses, seeing through her facade to the sexy free spirit underneath. But once his recovery is complete, will he return to the celebrity life he knew—or choose the woman who can fulfill his dreams?

This book definitely had the potential to be better. The ending was left off. I don’t particularly like books with rushed/unfinished endings. There were times during the book that I was getting bored and the ending just tied this all together for me. I definitely feel like I wasted the solid 4 hours it took me to read this book.

I really like the Wainwright family, especially Uncle Wyatt. Can't wait for the book.

After reading this book I was hooked; I'd buy anything with Rochelle Alers' name attached. And I have not been disappointed! This was such a sensual story. It was so entrancing reading about how the gentle giant, the "Viking," was taken down in the world that he thought mattered the most, and made to come to terms with what really mattered in life. I read about how love grew from a nonsuspecting relationship, into something great. I couldn't put it down!! There is another book in this series and I had hoped that there were more hidden away somewhere! Ms. Alers is just... Wow! Loved it!
