5By DeexoxoxoxoxoAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaGreat Beginning
5By JoeTam07After reading this a second time, I see why I originally gave it 4 stars, but I have altered this to 5. What made this a four star review in the past was that this is told in First-Person narrative, which I tend to not enjoy as much as the various Third person - I am over that bit now. This is a fast read, and a bit short, though it is a Young Adult novel, and at approx 66K it is in the word count that it needs to be. Standard fare of apprentice and master, though dealing with Witches and superstition, with a very European flavor to it. But, the pace is fast, and there is actually a sense of suspense, not because you don't know what is going to happen, but then when, and that makes for a fun and enjoyable read.Perfect
5By EmilyMansonA strong beginning to the series, much is to be done threw out the next 3 books, the forth and fifth brought tears
