Great story ! Not just the fact it was a free download. This story ranked right up there with the great murder mysteries I've read while paying homage to its influences. Love how instinct and logic solved this murder. Refreshing change from police procedural and csi type stories after being introduced to the inspector will definitely be downloading the others highly recommend this Free story!

Well-written with engaging characters (Zhang and Lee) even in this short format. Hints of Singapore's atmosphere come through and the reader is left wanting to know about the charming and humorous Zhang's next case.

A fun "locked room" mystery with a Chinese police detective who happens to be a fan of classic mystery fiction (even does a passable poirot impersonation). It's free and fun with an engaging mystery to solve. You can't lose!
