Description
It’s never too late to give love a second chance. . . even for a hard-working cowboy.
Callan Matthews awakens one day to the realization her husband has taken a nose dive off the pedestal where he’s resided since the moment they met. As Clay unwittingly tugs at the last few threads keeping her from completely unraveling, she has to choose between walking away or running back into his arms.
Easygoing cowboy Clay Matthews works hard and plays even harder. He’s the last person to wade into emotional turmoil, but he’s up to his neck in it trying to decipher his wife’s suddenly frosty feelings toward him.
When tragedy strikes and a life-altering secret is revealed, this tender, sometimes humorous sweet romance embraces the beauty of letting go of the past and daring to fall in love all over again.

5By Montana Brides Book 1Wonderful story. I was afraid it would have a lot of graphic sex pages but I was totally surprised. Thank you. I try to reading Christian books because of the way sexual episodes in Some of the books but I must have purchased this book before I read some of the books I had purchased earlier. Thank you and God Bless You.Even The Hardest Clay is Transformed by Love

5By rekabalI loved this book! Great story. It was easy to get lost in the story and feel the same things the characters were feeling. The author surprised me with a couple of things- which I enjoyed. Not a cookie cutter love story, but definitely a love story. So sweet love story.

1By Aubrey weeksi am usually not one for romance novels, but seeing that this one was free, I decided to give it a try. Boy, i was in for a ride. this story sent me through whirlwinds of emotions --happy, sad, angry, and everything else-- and i couldn't put it down. i became immersed in clay and callan's life together and their struggles as well as their good times. the author did a magnificent job of developing all of the characters and creating a humerous story with jokes and Jake specifically, as well as throwing some amazing life lessons in during Callan and Clay's hardships. Wonderful read and i will definitely be checking out some of this author's other stories!Wow

4By Lisa993Started out really loving the story...kind of started dragging, then better again. I feel it could've been condensed. This is a long read that lost my attention during some of the chapters. A good story overall, just not a book that made me not want to put it down.Heart of Clay

1By NolaWin65Can someone please write a book where the female character isn't weak, whiny, pathetic, and all about woe is me. She was strong enough to lie, keep a HUGE secret, and start a business without her husband's approval. She knew love because of her brother and father. If she thought her husband would eventually leave her, why get married...who does that? God became a part of the book but not in the beginning. They should've been consulting God before they got married instead of afterwards and even then it took thirteen years once the lies started to surface for them to call out. These two shouldn't have been together because neither was responsible or grown-up enough to be in a healthy adult relationship. I didn't like the female or male characters. This book was not well thought out.Heart of Clay!
