Description
From the New York Times bestselling author of Save Me, Think Twice and Look Again comes an explosive new novel about a woman faced with the ultimate choice: should she help someone from her past at the expense of her future?
Jill Farrow is a suburban mom who has finally gotten her and her daughter's lives back on track after a divorce. She loves being a pediatrician and is about to remarry, while her daughter, Megan, is a happily over-scheduled thirteen-year-old. But Jill's life is turned upside down when her ex-stepdaughter, Abby, shows up and delivers shocking news: Jill's ex-husband is dead. Abby insists that he was murdered-and pleads with Jill to help find his killer. Jill reluctantly agrees to make a few inquiries, and soon discovers that the story doesn't add up...As she digs deeper, her actions threaten to rip apart her new family, destroy their hard-earned happiness, and even endanger her own life. Yet how can Jill turn her back on a child she loves and once called her own? What are the limits of love, loss, and family?
"This thrilling testament to a mother's relentless love may well be Scottoline's best novel to date."-Library Journal (starred review) on Come Home
"Relentless...jaw-dropping."-David Baldacci

2By Rissu40If this book was any slower it would be going backwards. Halfway through and putting it down. I don't care what happens. The characters are pretty much all boring. Waste of time.Awesome book!!
5By AandPI have read a few of her novels, and this is the best one! I like the family interactions. All of the characters seem real to me-I found my self immersed in this new family and even learned about finances! Keep writing like this..You have a new fan!Book Worm
1By Shoediva4lifeOkay so I was on the fence about this book. I made the purchase anyways & boy am I upset that I did! This book was NOT what I expected it to be! π I loved her book "Keep Quite" now that's an amazing book!! ππ but this one here NOT SO MUCH, being the same author as "Keep Quite" I was hopeful that this "Come Home" would meet my expectations as the other book but it wasn't! Bad purchase on my part πDelores
5By Djwilliams143The first book I read by Lisa was "look again" and ever since I haven't been able to stop reading her work. Maybe the fact that I'm a mother and these books hit that truth of how much we worry and care for our children I don't know, regardless her work is done beautifully and this book is no different. Her trademark of finishing each chapter in a way that makes you NEED to keep going, kept me on this book and I finished it in 2days. I couldn't put it down as all her other books. Wonderful read and as always shows how strong a woman can be and is! Definitely a must read as all her books. My next one, Think Twice. Awesome read!Come Home
5By Ashley0821Loved this book, it kept me engaged the whole time. Would highly recommendDon't waste your money
1By LizzySalzI really didn't like this book at all. The characters were pathetic, the story line was totally unbelievable & I barely could finish it because I didn't care what happened to anyone by the end. The main character, Jill, was a joke & not believable or likable at all. I have read some of this author's other books, but this one was terrible. Don't waste your money or time.Come home
1By Reader659700Very overwrought, way too much dumb dialogue. Limited plot, limited characters. I had to flip through pages to even finish. Her worst yet.Come home
