DETROIT--My nightmare is half over. Six months ago, Rudy Giuliani and Hillary Clinton led in national polls and the two appeared to be poised to coast to becoming the nominees for president. The dark prospect of the American people having to choose between Giuliani and Clinton made me shudder and wake up at night in cold sweats. Rotten Rudy is now gone, tossed into the political trash heap.
