Description

"This book will take your breath away." --Kim Harrington, author of Clarity and Perception

Becca Chandler is suddenly getting all the guys--all the ones she doesn't want. Ever since her ex-boyfriend spread those lies about her.

Then she saves Chris Merrick from a beating in the school parking lot. Chris is different. Way different: he can control water--just like his brothers can control fire, wind, and earth. They're powerful. Dangerous. Marked for death.

And now that she knows the truth, so is Becca.

Secrets are hard to keep when your life's at stake. When Hunter, the mysterious new kid around school, turns up with a talent for being in the wrong place at the right time, Becca thinks she can trust him. But then Hunter goes head-to-head with Chris, and Becca wonders who's hiding the most dangerous truth of all.

The storm is coming. . .

"Five hot guys, one tough heroine, plenty of romance and non-stop action. . ..Elemental is the new series to watch." --Inara Scott, author of The Marked

"Magic, suspense, and enough twists to keep you reading until sunrise." --Award-winning author Erica O'Rourke

I was absolutely hooked! The love triangle is perfect, and WAY better then the ridiculous Twillight books. The action was great, and twist endings were at every turn! I loved this book, Becca is actually a good person to look up to! I hope this book turns into a movie someday! Im SO buying the next one!!!!

I bought this book free on iTunes, completely expecting it to be a cheesy YA fantasy with a predicable plot and characters. I was sooooo wrong. Though it had its predicable moments, the story is constantly moving and has amazing characters. I didn't know originally that this is a series and can not wait to read the rest.
  • Strange Book

Great idea for a story, but the writing wasn't strong enough. Not enough character development and it kind of felt like it was all over the place. It was strange to me that the writing and plot seemed directed toward a middle/high school reader, but their was a lot of bad language and dramatic sexual assault events and issues. It didn't hold my interest enough to buy the next book.

I stayed up until after midnight reading this book. Will it be worth it tomorrow while I am at work?? Not sure! $23.00 for the teaming series seems a bit steep since a few of the books have less than 100 pages and are $1.99. My problem.. You spend the beginning of the book with on guy, middle with another just to revert back to the other guy. There is no real connection built with either guy. You are confused and not sure who to route for. I did enjoy the merrick brothers! And if the others ever go on sale I will consider buying!

Where do I start. From beginning to end, it's an easy read, you find yourself not being able to stop turning the pages. There's intrigue, suspense, cute comic lines. There's a lot of characters to keep track of at first but when you do they grow on you. I read this book within 24 hrs! Couldn't put it down. I hope this book finds it way onto the TV screen!
