I've read this book off and on for the last year or so. Sometimes rereading sections and getting something totally different from it each time. This book has helped me tremendously in my career as well as cycling!

I am a 16 year old athlete and I play football for my high school. I knew that the mental part of sports was important but had no idea about the depth of it. This book has changed my view in sports and life. I believe after reading this book my athletic abilities have gone up 50% if not higher. This book is amazing. I recommend this to every athlete of all ages. Reading this I've realized my dreams can come true. BEST BOOK EVER.

My baseball coach told me about this book about halfway through my senior year. I always had plenty of talent for high school baseball, and yet I was only batting about .200 and about 8th in the lineup. I started reading this book and doing the exercises and the second half of my season was a complete turn around. I batted about .475 the rest of the year, got moved to 2nd in the lineup, and my fielding improved as well.

I enjoyed reading Mind Gym. It's message is universal, the key to success is within all of us. Despite antidotes from MLB players we now know used performance enhancing drugs, the stories reinforce my belief that the key to success is to push yourself. Visualization techniques are mentioned as a big part of the planning process successful athletes use to create a self fulfilling prophecy of their goals. A very quick read.
