BUT- this one (my first) does NOT inspire me enough to jump to a next (or previous) one. This one I have found superficial and somewhat convoluted. I respect his hard work, though.Hard Country

5By The Teacher ManMichael Mcgarrity has taken me to the same places McMurtry did in his Lonesome Dove series. I have enjoyed all if Mcgarrity's detective novels and now I can look forward to his historical fiction as well. The West is alive in this book.
