You don't expect much besides some breezy entertainment while away for the weekend. Nothing that you would actually pay (much) for. I read the free sample and laughed out loud. Thinking this was a good sign, I bought the book and hoped the comedic cadence would continue without missing a beat. It instead went down hill quickly. The book is nothing more than a laundry list, with the same joke told over and over again. I honestly think I finished it just to justify the $$ in vain. I won't make this mistake again.Dreadful
1By Kss623It took me months to try and get through this book and I couldn't even finish it. It's not comedy, it's someone whining and complaining about every little thing in life. I hear enough of that on the train in the morning, I don't need to waste my time reading about it.Joan is too funny

1By Mac WatersI hate this book. It is NOT funny. I am a big Joan Rivers fan. She is usually very funny ( even if crude or outrageous ). This book did not make me laugh once. I kept reading hoping it would get better. I was greatly disappointed. If you don' t like the sample-- don't order the book. I' ll continue to watch her on TV where she IS funny. It doesn't rate even one star.Loved it

I loved this book because shes not afraid of what comes out of her mouth and what people think of her. Sure sometimes she says stuff that is totally out there and uncalled for but thats the beauty of what she's all about. I simply loved it and this is the one book i can honestly say that i laughed out loud to, Keep it up!
