    On page 15 in the sample execution you must add Console.ReadLine(); This comes after Console.WriteLine(“The curcumference is “ + circumference);
  • Not a bad intro but..

    This is a pretty good introduction to the C# language. My only issue with it is that there are many gramatical errors in the text. It is frequent enough that they become distracting.
  • Quick Primer or Refresher

    If you are just getting started or even need a quick refresher, it gets the job done. There are a couple of places where a term is introduced but not referenced or explained that can be a bit confusing. Other than that though, I loved it. Concise. No frills. Perfect.
  • It's an okay book

    The book is an okay basic reference for people wanting to learn how to program in C#. The glaring issues are that it doesn't go into too much detail with each coding example. I know it's a basic resource, but when teaching beginners, the coding examples need to be well fleshed out.
  • Great Introduction

    This book is great to become familiar with the basics of C# programming quickly. It would be great to have some exercises to walk through in Visual Studio other than forms. Great quick read.

    This is one of the most helpful books I have read for C#, it really helped me get into it, where most other books get very advanced very fast, and quite a few assume you have considerable skill in related languages like VB and Java! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get into C#!!
  • Great Book!

    This is the book I've been looking for. Not like the other "PDF" like books, this is real ibook format and extremely easy to understand format. All these for this price, I strongly recommend this book to any beginners. Thank you very much.
