Description

They're here.

They ride.

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Born of a match between good and evil, four siblings stand between hell's minions and everything they want to destroy. They are the Lords of Deliverance, and they have the power to ward off Doomsday . . . or let it ride . . .

Rogue Rider

Jillian Cardiff came to this remote mountain town to forget the demon attack that almost killed her. Instead, she rescues-and falls for-a gorgeous stranger who has no memory of anything other than his name. Handsome, charming, and protective, Reseph seems like the kind of man whom Jillian can trust. But with hints of a troubling history of his own, he's also the kind of man who can be very dangerous . . .

Reseph may not know why he mysteriously appeared in Jillian's life, but he knows he wants to stay. Yet when Jillian's neighbors are killed, and demon hunters arrive on the scene, Reseph fears that he's putting Jillian in danger. And once it's revealed that Reseph is also Pestilence, the Horseman responsible for ravaging the world, he and Jillian must face the greatest challenge of all: Can they forget the horrors of a chilling past to save the future they both desire?

Wow what a awesome series. Reseph was the icing on the cake. I hope this isn't the end because I would continue reading about these 4 horseman/woman for a long time....

The more I read of this series, the more I absolutely LOVE it! Ms. Ione has found the perfect balance of mystery, intrigue, mythology, supernatural, sex appeal & smoking hot characters who make the pages burn with their passion. It is one of my top recommended reads in the Paranormal Romance genre, it’s a go to comfort read and it’s a series that, even after my 4th or 5th read through, I still find it fresh & exciting. Reseph has been a character that I have loved to hate since the beginning. He is the ultimate bad boy personified! Even though his seal was broken and he became Pestilence, you still caught glimpses of Reseph trying his best to come through. Finally with Rogue Rider, we get to see the Reseph that his family knew & loved. We’ve only been shown Pestilence and the horror that he was capable of delivering. This transition was amazing and supremely well written! So many times we get a bad boy hero who needs to be redeemed, and in order to do that, the author will gloss over his sins - out of sight, out of mind. But all is not forgotten or forgiven, and it shouldn’t be. Reseph cannot forgive himself, much less expect Ares, Thanatos & Limos to. Jillian is the calm in the middle of the storm and his salvation. Jillian is an exceptional character and I think, the perfect match for Reseph. She has suffered from a horrendous attack by a demon and now lives secluded from everyone - until she finds a stranger passed out in the woods. He makes her feel again, love and makes her feel safe & secure. When she finds out who and what Reseph truly is, she handles it like a champ and with a calmness that definitely let you know she was wearing her big girl panties ;) As usual Ms. Ione did a fan-freakin-tastic job of incorporating all of the Horsemen and other secondary characters into Rogue Rider. The overall story line/arc of this series culminated into an amazing ending that left me craving more! There were surprises that were EPIC and had me jumping out of my seat! I got a sah-weet tantalizing taste of what was to come from the next book and all I have to say is...Reaver come to mama! I must have his story and I’m crossing my fingers that his HEA is with Harvester...*gasp* yes, Harvester!
