3By Blissfully1I enjoy JAL generally, and found this book just so so. Eve was good, but Adam's transition from Vicar to passionate suitor was not smooth and slightly boring.A Notorious Countess Confesses
3By Armik BThis story drug on a bit to much. I enjoyed Eve character a lot and Adam as well, good ending.Really good!
5By Brekhna1967Enjoyed the very much. Good character development. A little weak at the very end. I love the Pennyroyal series and characters. It helps if you've read the previous stories. If you love romance, buy this book!
5By Waffleman 227What a wonderful story from Julie Anne Long! Honestly, it is lovely and funny and passionate and heart-warming from start to finish. If I didn't already love my husband, I would be in love with Adam, the hero of this book; and Eve is a terrifically flawed heroine who is authentic and contrary and completely believable in her passions and fears. Long is one of three or four authors that I buy the day their new books come out. I am sad to say that 2 of my other favorite authors have disappointed me with their latest efforts, but this is Long's best book yet. I bought the digital version of this book, but I am going to be profligate, and go buy a hardcopy of it as well for my keeper shelf. Just great. Thanks, Julie Anne! As an aspiring romance writer, I am completely jealous!
