5By .KK.SliderThis is the closest thing I’ve found which resonates with my feelings on how the universe appears to function; from my perspective. I don’t know that I’ll ever be capable of trusting organized religion after my experience growing up in a fundamentalist adjacent sect of Christianity… so much of what I went through was traumatically negative, and I’m really only starting to understand myself (at 33yo) and the impact being in that environment as a child has on the adult version of myself. Books like this have been an amazing coping mechanism as I navigate things like “belief vs understanding” and attempt to piece together an foundational identity which expresses a truer version of myself than I was allowed to be during my most formative years. To those lost or questioning as I did, I think this book is an excellent starting place on your journey of true self discovery.Kybalion
