This book inaccurately tells the story about what apparently happened to Jesus approximately 70 years after he died. The original Dead Sea scrolls were written by prophets and some of the prophets were women. Constantine and a few other white Europeans came along and adapted this book into what it is now according to what THEY wanted in it which unfortunately every story was written by a heterosexual male. They also gave the characters European names in opposed to the original Hebrew names then appropriated the culture of the middle eastern/Africans that originally formed the idea and stories of Christianity. People take this book too literally in order to get an excuse to oppress others.

I haven't even downloaded this app, all I had to do was read the description. It is SO insulting that they put a religious book, much less THE BIBLE in the "fiction" category. And really? They couldn't make it English? It's in Danish! Nothing against Danish-speakers, but Danish isn't the most popular language. Don't waste your time, people. Download another book or app that has the Bible, or read it on paper (which is, in my opinion, much better). 😓 Again, disappointed and insulted.

This book is where it should, under the fiction section. A wonderful read for ignorant and fearful minds who have no room for science. Cultivated minds should avoid this at all costs! Keep away from children so that they might still sleep at night without fear of a homophobic, sexist, jealous, and cruel imaginary god.

characters not believable and confusing plot. who's the author? I have a mind to send whoever it is a critique letter. I mean really, a random girl who just so happens to be a virgin is chosen by some all-powerful being to bear his son? and this son is so perfect that 4 guys follow him around? no way, JK Rowling writes more believably than this. also, can we talk about Exodus? I mean, the movie was better in this case. More dramatic and plot twisty. Moses was some Jewish kid who was raised as a pharaoh's son (yawn), then he discovers he's a Jew and decides to save his brethren from slavery (consider that he only cared once he realized he was one of them), and they walk for 40 years and he parts the Red Sea, blah blah blah. Come on. You're telling me that thousands of people walked for 40 years straight on faith alone? Yeah, that's not going to cut it. Sorry, author, whoever you are, but the suspension of disbelief didn't hold me for very long. Again, unrealistic, bad characters, and pretty awful book overall.

Not since Ovid’s Metamorphoses have I read such a creative novel of the earth’s existence. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to stray away from the magic of reality: reading about Higg’s boson or Huxely’s Evidence as to a Man’s Place in Nature. The truth can be a bit overwhelming, I know. Well, look no further. Rest your tiny mind here. This is great for anyone looking for to boost their creative juices and take a break from the expository side of literature.
