I have seen the movie countless times. But this year I thought to read the book. It’s been a worthy decision for sure.

What a pleasure, what a treat to read A Christmas Carol aloud the fortnight leading up to Christmas to our 7 year old son. The language is fun and a bit odd for him, the pictures interesting, and he knows the jist already from the muppets version, so it was just a real pleasure for us parents to experience all the original language and not just the most quotable quotes! Lovely!!
