- Release Date: 1865-11-25
- Genre: Action & Adventure Fiction for Kids
Description
An Apple Books Classic edition.
Fall down the proverbial rabbit hole with Alice, the intrepid heroine of Lewis Carroll’s classic fantasy! When Alice spies a talking rabbit, she can’t resist following him into his hole - winding up in Wonderland, a nonsensical land of magical potions and never-ending tea parties. We accompany Alice on a journey that leads her to meet a grinning and elusive Cheshire Cat, a Mad Hatter, and, of course, the cruel, maniacal Queen of Hearts.
Is Alice and every other inhabitant of Wonderland mad? Or is it just a daydream? For over 100 years, children have come under the spell of Carroll’s topsy-turvy world, and adults have debated the meaning of the mathematician turned author’s feverish story. Visit Wonderland alongside Alice and find out why so many generations become “curiouser and curiouser” with each reading.

Curiouser and Curiouser
3By LeelaandfriendsI decided to read this after reading and loving The Wonderland Trials by Sara Ella. I have never seen any of the movies or anything, so I didn’t really know what to expect. I guess it was okay. I’m glad I read it because now I understand a lot more of The Wonderland Trials, but it really wasn’t that good.Such a fun read!
5By JoooooooooooolzFirst classical that I finished. It was really easy to pick up and down since the story was so memorable and random, so you did not need to remember every little detail.Cool to see the origin of the Disney movie
5By Bretton KyleEven weirder than expected, and at times just like the Disney version, word for word. If you love fantasy and haven’t read it yet, give it a go, it’s quite the journey 🤘🏼now curious about “Through the Looking Glass”…Ttt
5By Is it, Beaver?I love this bookI love this book!
5By mutdjhtf, hyfjdThe reason I love this book is because it kept me interested and motivated to read what came next. Another thing is that I love the idea of the plot and the characters. I also LOVED the pictures! It’s like a acid trip
4By the neon donutI’m 15 years old just to say this I have read Dracula 1 time, Frankenstein twice because one time for school and one time for my own. And also 20000 leagues under the sea. Nothing really makes sense in this book it’s strange the plot points feel too rushed but it’s a classic so it gets some bonus points.I didn’t think it would be that tedious
1By Gaming artistHonestly, this was a pretty boring book. Each chapter is essentially its own little story with few (if any) threads to the previous ones. However a decent chunk of said chapter is usually just Alice being forced to recite a lesson.Great book Lewis Carroll

5By EternaljourneyTimeless classic and a must read for all agesA lot going on
3By CaseyisobnoxiousIt’s a fun and quirky read but at most times just felt like random gibberish I’d never remember. Not really my style of book but definitely an interesting read. I will say that watching the movie helped me to have more of an appreciation for this book. I understand now that it’s written the way it is because it’s supposed to be fun and silly and the perspective from a child and her crazy dream. What an intriguing adventure!!!
5By Limits Don't ExistThis was an excellent read with my wife and 6-month old daughter. Enjoyed the adventure which ended out to be a dream and can’t wait to start the next chapter in the series to see what imaginative journey Alice will be on next!!!Another Classic
