Not what I anticipated...at all.
1By lisa66azDon’t get me wrong, I’m definitely not what you would call a prude, but I wasn’t expecting the amount of erotic horror contained in “Abandoned”. I truly enjoyed the previous books in this series, and quite honestly found it difficult to put them down. This last one, however ... let’s just say that due to the horrifically gruesome acts committed by the villagers of Watch Point drawn in by the vile evil of Harrow, I had more nightmares than normal. And that’s saying a lot, because I normally have pretty screwed up dreams on a regular basis. Readers beware ... this book is not for someone with a queasy stomach affected easily by tales of gore and human mutilation. Especially if you have a very good imagination and can easily put yourself in the place of characters in the book.
