Description
Prosperity
by Charles Fillmore
The title of the book Prosperity refers as much to spiritual ‘Prosperity’ as it does to Material ‘Prosperity.’ Charles Fillmore, the co-founder of the Unity Church, uses twelve ‘lessons’ to explain his principals and to encourage the reader to follow the path to both spiritual and material prosperity. This book has been read and re-read by millions and continues to inspire and teach because of the timelessness of its message. The book also has a complete set of Fillmore’s questions for readers, to help them understand each lesson.
The New Thought Movement or New Thought is a loosely allied group of organizations, authors, philosophers, and individuals who share a set of metaphysical beliefs concerning healing, life force, Creative Visualization, and personal power. The New Thought Movement developed in the United States during the mid to late 19th century and continues to the present time. It promotes the ideas that God is all powerful and ubiquitous, Spirit is the totality of all things, true human selfhood is divine, divine thought is a force for good, most sickness originates in the mind, and "right thinking" has a healing effect.
