Description
"Filled with intriguing twists and characters and an overarching mystery that will keep fans coming back."—Kirkus Reviews
In this New York Times bestselling thriller from Iris Johansen, Doane needs Eve's skills and he'll do anything to get them…even if it means Taking Eve.
As a forensic sculptor, Eve Duncan's mission is to bring closure to the families whose loved ones have vanished. She knows their anguish—her own beloved daughter, Bonnie, was taken from her when Bonnie was just seven years old. It is only recently that this mystery was resolved and Eve could begin her journey to peace.
Now Jim Doane wants the same kind of answers that Eve always longed for. His twenty-five-year-old son may or may not be dead, and he has only burned skull fragments as possible evidence. But he cannot go to the police for answers without exposing his dark past, so instead he chooses a bold step to find the truth—one that takes Eve down a twisted path of madness and evil and into the darkest heart of her own history.

Taking Eve
5By Golfer in FloridaGreat book! I could not put it down. Can not wait for the next one..Strange
1By Jay sevensThe new Eve books are getting more and more weird and paranormal. This one starts out so slow I skipped several pages. I won't be purchasing any more and I want my money back. Very disappointed!Unfinished
1By Redundant x3Horrible unfinished ending. I generally like the Eve series but this one is sub par.Poorly Written Drivel
1By brandgooI could not put this book down fast enough. Poorly drawn characters and new age nonsense. I can't urge you enough to save your money.Over priced
3By MJ845Besides being over priced for an e-book, it's like a TV series, the 2 part cliff hanger. Too much money for only half the story.Disappointing
3By DrpeppetI was very disappointed to not have an ending to this book. I loved reading the previous ones. I am not sure that I will buy the next ones. I also was surprised reading the other reviews that this is a trilogy. I will read reviews from now on!Abrupt but good
4By ChictrixKept me interested right to where it stopped. All the characters are here. I agree, definitely an abrupt finish. But I'll preorder the next.Great writing, but only a partial book!
2By Dave1324This book is classic Johannsen, whose books I love! That being said, the ending was so abrupt and so lame...if this were truly meant o be a trilogy, the sub store sat east would come to a conclusion. Here everything is left hanging. I won't buy another book if the intent is just to frustrate readers and make them pay 2-3 times for a single story.Impatient
3By Margarita GirlNot as great as the last few books from her, and I didn't realize it was the 1st of a Trilogy. But still solid. the characters are good. Just too predictable.Love
5By HopefulbI love it but I can't wait for the rest
