It just helped me to get motivated and gave me the stength to go through anything, whatever will happen. Respect for Dr. Carson, the man who was not afraid to follow his dreams and to do something for them. Ben Carson teaches you a lot of important, and valuable life lessons in this book, such as believing in yourself, trusting in God, and being thankful for the gifts we are given. Great book. Dr. Carson made something amazing with his life, with the help of God, whom he gives ultimate credit for his abilities as a neurosurgeon. Inside, you will not only find an inspiring take on life as a God fearing human, but you will be engrossed in the many stories of miraculous surgeries he has been a part of that in reality can only be explained by a true higher power. Do yourselves a real favor and read this book. I'm sure you won't regret it, and will come out in the end realizing how amazing Dr. Carson and God really are.A Blessing to Read!!

Dr. Carson does an exceptional job at making his life's story & his awe inspiring career relatable to all. Though I have no plans of cutting open anyone's brain, I do know that I too am capable at being great at what I do. The miracles listed in this book at pure faith igniters. If God can do it for Dr. Carson & his patients, why shouldn't I believe He's capable of miraculous works in my life as well. Great book. Yet another reason I love Dr. Ben Carson!W
5By Bob 67I just finished reading Gifted Hands by Dr. Carson, and just like America The Beautiful, it was wonderful, inspiring book. I have never read or known anyone(except Biblical characters) who god certainly has His Hands on. I first met Dr. Carson when he appeared on the Prayer Breakfast. I fell in love with him then and have followed him since. By the way, I am a white grandmother of 13, And I am 76 years old. I keep thinking he may be the one God has given to us to lead out of the darkness our Nation has sunken to. He could be the one to lead us back to the wonderful, God-givingGreat book!!

4By FinethingsABTThis book must be a pretty accurate glimpse into the "real Ben Carson". The more I learn about this man, the more focused and consistent the image becomes. It is the image of a man with great talent cloaked in even greater caring, compassion and humility. His humility is refreshing. I love how he knows and joyously shares its Source. This review is written June, 2013 as he finishes his tenure at Johns Hopkins. I eagerly await the revelation of where God takes him next. I, for one, pray it is a role on the national political stage. This book, like the man, is simply great!
