1By MimigramaI was shocked at the filthy sex scenes in this book. I was looking for a clean love story. I do not understand why any author feels the need to be so graphic. Would NOT recommend this book.Capital bride
4By MLM-5Sweet story.Review
2By My Passion Is ReadingDon’t waste your time with this book. The book really needs a good editor. The wording seems forced in some places and is too wordy in others. This story should have started with an prologue explaining Sarah’s relationship with her fiancé. Then the book should have started with her living with her Aunt. This book starts too abruptly. Also, in the beginning of the book Sarah greets her cousin, William, with a kiss on the cheek. She is very happy with his generosity towards her. Her reason for not marrying him is only because he is her cousin. Then later she is hostile towards him like he has treated her badly. This is very confusing. This book reads like a sweet historical romance, however, it has explicit sex scenes which seem to contrast with the rest of the book. The storyline isn’t bad, it just needs a good editor fix these issues. As it is, I don’t recommend reading it.Capital Bride Cynthia Woolf
3By avidreader4everAuthor is talented and weaves a story that draws you in but it was a little too wordy for me. I finished it,but not impressed enough to continue the series. I like historical romance, but was not a fan of this one.Capital bride

3By MaebelluabVery nice story. Good for a quick read. Interesting plot. However the mistakes in grammar took away from that pleasure. Would have been much more enjoyable if these had been corrected.Capital Bride

5By Bi dinaSimple and beautiful story. I would add refreshing with no unnecessary drama. It is blessedly short!
1By Janma4A very thin story filled with sloppy mistakes. Don't give up the day job!Good story
4By 11tms69This isa good romance but I found it too short. I would've loved to see the characters grow a little more before the book ended.Wonderful Quick Read
5By Workinglady1234Great story with romance, mystery, and murder. I liked the old west setting.Meh...
2By Rush61Stilted and amateurish writing. The author could use the help of an editor who can get rid of all the fragmented sentences. The too many (and seriously -much too detailed) descriptions of the two main characters having sex seemed an odd contrast to the sort of family-vibe of the story. It's like it's a book about this lovely couple and their little girls but the story was so boring the author felt the need to graphically describe their sexual activity every other page. Ms. Woolfe lost a big opportunity to create a much better storyline and ended up with a cheap, trashy dime novel.Very poorly written.
1By AkuraniI can't even finish this book due to the awkward and clunky writing. The dialogue is so weird, the characters seem stupid because the words coming out of their mouths seem so forced. The plot seems rushed and the author makes no effort to endear the reader to the characters. I would not recommend.
