Wow
5By Chris livelyJohn French has now become my favorite 40k author ( sorry ADB ). John's ability to tie together the various threads of this character into an utterly believable whole is amazing. Rather than change established 40k "history", John built a solid house on it. A rare skill I wish more authors had. Every character in this book came alive with clear motivations and depth that only a book written by a skilled story teller can give. Can't wait until I see more like this.Truly excellent
5By GraybrainMade me interested in the character. It's a nice bridge between the various depictions of Ahriman. As usual in that universe, odds are it will all end badly, but never in a boring way.Magnificent
5By ZumbytIt is my first time reading a novel about the warhammer 40k universe and I have to say that it's fantastic!!!Ahriman: Exile
5By OST Dark Future GamesA great look at Ahriman, not as the super villain that the 40k universe birthed so many years ago, but much more a fallen angel in the same role he was given by McNiell in A Thousand Sons. The book is a great follow up to that novel as it tells the tale of the time between the heresy and his rise. He is a dynamic character with a lot of soul as are the characters he meets along the way.
