5By Playing to relaxThis is a somewhat episodic story of a trip on a starliner with numerous stops at various planets with differing cultures. The trip includes highjacking, kidnapping, war, difficult passengers, amorous passengers, romances and work. Plenty of guns but not a single tank. No war rooms or extended discussion of tactics. I've missed this kind of book. Read it. If this gets made into a movie someone should check into the possibilities of resurrecting Nigel Bruce to play an intelligent Watson--maybe paired with Donald Sutherland. The major characters require more thought.Classis Sci-Fi
