I read all her other books, too, great writer

Too much coming of age....found myself bored after 100 pages. Skimmed through 3/4 reading first line of each paragraph, very wordy. Lived on the mountain & knew of the Mt Tam murders so I was curious enough to finish the book. Would not recommend this book.

The story line bored me and seemed to last forever. The writing was very repetitive. I felt like if I heard one detail once, I heard it a million times throughout the unneccesarily long book. One of the worst I have come across.

This is only the second book I've read by this author,( I'msureI'lllhave read the rest before long) I loved this book. I thought I had it figured out 150 pages in, but I was dead wrong. Ms. Maynard, you have a fan for life. Sincerely, Tim Geist
