My family has known that this is a true story!!We Christians believe the one true god you cannot be against him!!HE WILL THROW YOU IN A FEIRY FURNACE!!HE IS MY GOD SO DONT BE A HATER BE A LOVER!!LOVE IS THE KEY TO JESUS!!!

This book blew my mind! It’s such a good book and true story! I couldn’t put it down! This is definitely one book I have recommended to any person that I know likes to read and/or believes that there is a heaven! Amazing book and I believe every word of it!

I absolutely loved reading this book it gave me such comfort knowing there is a heaven!

The author has since admitted he made up the story for money. So, if you don’t mind that it’s fiction, it’s an ok read.

Very well worth reading. It strengthens my faith. It comforts my heart. It renews my rationality. It humbles myself. It refills me with hope. It energizes me. It minimizes my fear. It refreshes my directions of life and angles of seeing things and people.

I find this book hard to believe

It’s tough to believe Colton Burpo actually experienced being in Heaven in his NDE (Near Death Experience). I finished reading the book in almost one day. Todd Burpo makes great parallels between Colton’s experience and what’s written in Scripture. Even though Colton has said nearly everyone in Heaven has wings, nothing in Scripture says we’ll get wings when we die. Human souls are different from Angel’s souls. Do consider reading this. It’s strengthened my belief quite a bit. Peace be with you.

We are in a time of chaos and fear as the Coronavirus sweeps throughout the world. No one is safe says the media. I decided to read this book instead of focusing on all the hysteria around me. It has reminded me that Heaven is real and that God “our father”is in control and loves us.

ultimatist you clearly need to read the Holy Bible through. Especially the New Testament. I’m 12 years old and I even know that Romans 10:9 says “If you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and you believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you WILL be saved!” And Mark 11:22-23 says “‘Have faith in God,’ Jesus answered. ‘Truly I tell you if anyone says to this mountain, ‘go throw yourself into the sea!’ And does NOT doubt in their heart but believes what they say will happen, it will be done for them!’” And best of all, one of my favorite Bible verses in the world that I memorized when I was 6 years old 😁, John 3:16 which says: “For God SO LOVED the world that He gave His one and only Son, so that whoever believes in Him will not die, but have everlasting life!” These verses are very clear that if you believe in Jesus Christ, even when you sin, all you have to do is ask God and whoever else you hurt for forgiveness! Yes sometimes it is hard, but just know that no matter who you are, no matter what you’ve done, no matter what you look like, no matter what culture you live in, no matter what race or gender, no matter what clothes you wear or friends you have, or even if you are lonely, JESUS LOVES YOU SO MUCH!!! HE EVEN DIED FOR YOU! HE TOOK THE PUNISHMENT FOR ALL THE SINS YOU HAVE EVER DONE OR EVER WILL DO!!! AND THE BEST PART, GOD ROSE HIM FROM THE DEAD IN REAL REAL LIFE SO THAT YOU CAN LIVE WITH HIM IN HEAVEN FOREVER WHEN YOUR BODY DIES IF YOU BELIEVE IN HIM!!! HEAVEN IS FOR REAL!!!!! If you are not a Christian and you are reading this, the Bible is ALL true. And all of this that I have said IS true too! If you believe it, confess that Jesus is your savior and that He is Lord and ask the Holy Spirit to come into your life (if you want to know more about the Holy Spirit, read Acts chapter 2 in the Holy Bible.) Seriously God will fill that empty hole in your spirit and you will feel so much peace. Go talk to a Christian you know and try to attend church at least once. Talk to the pastor and hopefully he/she will help you in your walk of faith if you REALLY believe. And btw this movie is real good you should check it out. 😂😂 THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME

I loved the way the Pastor related the scriptures to the story. A book that you can read more than once!

I watched the movie over and over and was so happy my emotions never changed I still cried even though I watched it so many times it’s really emotional but it’s inspirational to love god and show not to be scared because lots of people say their scared to die because they think heaven isn’t good but after they see this book and movie they won’t be scared or anything.thank you so much for inspiring me I love you and your family so much❣️❣️I know it’s so long after but I really wanted people to not forget this awesome story and continue the love ❤️

This book is beautiful

This book is amazing. It is a wonderful story about a boy who got a glance of heaven. This book will make you go in tears and that's was so good about it. If you're having doubts about your Christian faith this book will make you believe everything about your faith is real!

I just watched the movie like not even ten minutes ago. The movie was amazing!! It's really inspiring! I have not yet read the book but I am definitely gonna buy it. This is such an amazing story and I am very glad it got told to the world! I can not wait to read the book. The painting of Jesus from the movie was amazing. Just looking at it and wondering if that is really what he looks like warms my heart. Really wanting to buy a painting online. For them two children to experience such an amazing thing is very wonderful. I, myself would love to experience what they did. The would be life changing. It would give a whole different look on life but not only life itself. But what everyone says about Jesus and god. Everyone has this image on what everyone thinks he looks like. But honestly how would we know. We've never meet them. Colton on the other hand obviously has. He might not have been to explain what he saw but he knew what he saw was real. No one could tell him any different. I would really like to meet Colton. And the other little girl who had the same experience as Colton. I would love to hear what they have to say about everything they went through. To hear how they handled a such a young age and what people thought of them. They must have went through a rough time with that. But now that they are older and can explain it better. I would love to talk with them.

I was completely absorbed while reading this story. I'm a registered nurse with almost 50 years of experience. I was appalled that the doctor misdiagnosed appendicitis! A simple palpation of the abdomen would have revealed it! Poor parents, poor boy! I'm also a Catholic nun. I believe Heaven is all around us, but so is hell. Colton is right about satan--when I was 16 I felt his evil presence and I never forgot it. Thank you for sharing these events and for the picture of YAH'SHUA (Jesus') REAL Name. Blessings to all and please pray for me as I'm ill and alone except for my dog and birds. And please pray that my house sells quickly.

I am a Christian so that makes this such a powerful book. As a parent, I cried with real pain as Colton's parents tried to find a way to save their boy. I believe in God, heaven and that this boy sat in Jesus' lap. His trip to heaven renews my long held faith in Him. We are never alone for God is with us. I hope this book has helped many have faith.
